• reviewed a considerable amount of technical documentation provided by manufacturers for relevant products

Planning Permission Secured

Miltcon Services Ltd. secured planning permission for our private sector waste management client which authorises an increase in the rate of acceptance of waste at one of their existing facilities. Permission was secured without the requirement for further information and, as ‘sub-threshold’ development, a Schedule 7 screening assessment was undertaken which identified no potential for significant effects resulting from the development.

Biochar & Activated Carbon Study

Miltcon Services Ltd. was retained by the Irish BioEnergy Association (IrBEA) and the Western Development Commission (WDC) to carry out a study to assess the scale and nature of the current market on the island of Ireland for biochar and activated carbon, as part of the REDIRECT project, of which IrBEA and WDC are project partners. The final project report will be provided in early January 2019 – more detail to follow.
